Job Purpose
- Lead the Wealth Management team, manage and administrate all services provided by the teams in an efficient and cost effective manner while maintaining high quality and adequate controls
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and processing of Wealth Management business including investment and equity product
- Define and deliver the best functional alignment, process priorities, key knowledge on banking controls, market and product knowledge, keep abreast with industry developments and alignment to business strategies and priorities
- Establish and ensure adherence to departmental guidelines as well as compliance of the Banks policy
- Perform regular tracking on deliverable quality and produce monthly reports for senior management review
- Checking and authorizing various business as usual tasks within designated authority
- Report all process deviations with recommendations on tactical and strategic solutions to the process gaps, incidents and enhancements with a strong emphasis on controls, efficiency, capacity planning, best practice, process alignment and regulatory targets.
- Give advice in operations perspective for new products and services development
- Plan and design workflow to support program and product launch
- Plan resources to achieve assigned tasks
- Administrate, automate and enhance efficiency of all functions
- Manage and coordinate different projects as assigned
- Conduct performance appraisal and promotion recommendations, and handle other staffing issues
- Provide coaching and training to subordinates
- Take up other ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Business Administration or related subjects is preferred
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in managerial level
- Holder of Certified Treasury Management Professional (CTMP) under the HKMA ECF on TM is preferred
- CFA or FRM professional qualification is preferred
- Broad and sound knowledge in investment product and equities product such as UT, ELI, SD, Fixed Income, HK and US stock as well as relevant daily operations
- Thorough knowledge of banking policy and operational procedures
- Good knowledge in accounting principles
- Prudent and attentive to details
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
