A Hong Kong–based bank is hiring for a Manager, Corporate Communications and Marketing position.

Job Duties:

1.Strategy, Planning & Advisory

  1. Leverage marketing insights to support the banks business strategy and development by shaping and advancing integrated communications strategies and campaigns, and providing professional recommendations and solutions on external communications and brand positioning to senior management.
  2. Develop ideas and measures to optimize the effectiveness and ROI on marketing and public relations spend.

2.Execution of PR & Marketing Initiatives

  1. Oversee and support marketing initiatives and social media platforms management.
  2. Handle media enquiries and work with internal and external stakeholders on issues management.
  3. Manage the brands community activities across offline and online platforms, including events planning, editorial strategy, and content optimization for different markets.

3.Review, Coordination & Quality Management

  1. Work closely with internal teams and manage agencies, vendors, and third parties across Hong Kong and Mainland China to ensure effective coordination and delivery.
  2. Support ongoing review and optimization of marketing and PR activities to ensure quality standards and resource efficiency.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree holder, major in Journalism, Communications, Media, Marketing or related disciplines is preferred.
  2. 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, PR, or related fields, familiarity in the banking or technology sector is an advantage.
  3. Good relationship with the media, with exposure to Hong Kong and/or Mainland China media landscape related media or vendor resources are a plus
  4. Strong overall writing and editorial capabilities, with the ability to independently develop clear, well‑structured and professional communications materials in both English and Chinese. A solid foundation in formal Chinese written expression is a must.
  5. Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Entrepreneurial self-starter who can plan and executive communications programs with minimal supervision. Able to work with guidance from senior management while gradually taking greater ownership
  7. Excellent command of written and verbal communication skills in English & Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua is a must).
