About Our Client Our client is an Investment Bank, looking for a Settlement Analyst to join their dynamic team.
Product knowledge in Equity products and Fixed Income products for Hong Kong market would be preferred
Job Description - Perform equity and fixed income settlement activities across Hong Kong equities, China A-Share Connect, CMU, and Bond Connect
- Investigate and resolve settlement breaks and exceptions
- Reconcile firm books and records against external banks and central depositories
- Liaise with brokers, custodians, and other counterparties to resolve settlement issues
- Process physical certificate movements, ADR conversions, cross-board conversions, and related transactions
- Support IPO syndicate settlements, EIPO subscriptions, and related post-trade activities
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and risk controls
The Successful Applicant - Bachelor's degree
- Product and operational knowledge of Hong Kong cash equities preferred
- Strong risk awareness with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
- Effective communicator with internal stakeholders and external parties, including exchanges and senior management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
