We are seeking an experienced professional to join our client's team in Hong Kong as a VP/Director within the group. In this role, you will develop and manage a portfolio of HK large corporate relationships, supporting the overall business strategy and ensuring sustained client growth and profitability.
This position will play a critical role in managing all aspects of corporate client relationships, involving cross-selling a range of corporate and investment banking products including cash management, trade finance, debt capital markets, bilateral and syndicated loans, and risk management solutions. A key focus will be on promoting the bank's sustainability and energy transition priorities.
You will be responsible for developing comprehensive account plans, coordinating transactions, assessing and mitigating counterparty risks in cooperation with product partners, and facilitating global network collaboration to maximise client coverage. Adherence to internal compliance standards and risk management protocols is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and further develop a portfolio of large Hong Kong corporates and conglomerates
- Build and execute strategic account plans to maximise relationship depth, wallet share and long‑term profitability
- Act as the primary relationship owner, coordinating internally to deliver best‑in‑class client solutions
- Originate and cross‑sell a broad suite of corporate and investment banking products, including:
-Bilateral & syndicated loans
-Bonds & capital markets solutions
-Interest rate & FX hedging
-Trade finance & cash management
-Structured & asset‑backed finance
-Advisory / M&A solutions
- Partner closely with internal product teams, risk, credit, compliance and global coverage colleagues
- Proactively manage credit risk, counterparty exposure and portfolio quality
- Support the bank's strategic focus on sustainability and energy transition financing
- Facilitate collaboration with regional and global offices on cross‑border opportunities
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate banking sales and relationship management.
- Strong product knowledge across banking and capital markets, including lending, treasury, and trade solutions.
- Excellent relationship management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently under pressure while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong influencing and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is essential.
