Senior Manager/Director - Risk and Control

Salary: HK$850k - HK$1.4mn + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead operational risk management and ensure adherence to the firms risk framework.
  2. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across processes, systems, and business activities.
  3. Conduct risk assessments, control reviews, incident management, and scenario analysis.
  4. Advise senior management on risk exposure, ratings, and remediation plans.
  5. Oversee regulatory and compliance matters, including responses to SFC/MAS and other regulators.
  6. Ensure alignment with applicable regulations (HKEX, SFC, SGX, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, SOX, Basel, Volcker).
  7. Drive BCP oversight and operational excellence initiatives focused on risk and controls.
  8. Deliver risk analytics, reporting, and management information to support decision-making.

 Requirements
  1. Bachelors degree in Risk, Compliance, Finance, or related field.
  2. 10+ years experience in financial services, preferably in securities.
  3. Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks and regulatory requirements in Asia.
  4. Experience managing regulatory inquiries and compliance reviews.
  5. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Risk, audit, or control background preferred; Lean/Six Sigma a plus.
