Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Operational Support and Coordination - Primarily support SME BBS to complete new application submission to Manulife, ensuring all required documents are available and satisfactory affordability and suitability assessments have been conducted. (Anticipated volume: 26-30 new applications per month)
- Assist the SME Team Lead in preparing and conducting staff briefings on sales process updates and new product launches.
- Assist the IBG Banca Head in arranging meetings with business partners, coordinating meeting materials, and preparing meeting minutes.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance and routine administrative support to the Banca team for daily operations, including but not limited to, courier services, MIS reports, sales and marketing support, client events, staff events.
General Counter Service and Business Partner Inquiries - Handle inquiries from internal stakeholders (CCU, Doc Team, PAT Team, Loan redemption team), and business partners (Manulife) for policy administration and documentation follow-up. This includes loan drawdown, policy pledging, surrender, lapsation, death claim, policy reinstatement, change of policy life insured/ownership/beneficiaries. (Anticipated volume, 100-120 inquiries per month)
- Assist BBS in ensuring delivery of documents promptly to customer, business partners, and internal stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance and Internal Control - Check the completeness of Life referrals and record keeping.
- Assist IBG Banca Head and Team Lead on handling document collation for RSCA/Audit/Compliance review.
Backup and Digitalization Support - Provide back-up support to the GI team and respond to RM inquiries for GI business referral.
- Support the direct manager in the digitalization project within Banca team
Requirement - Degree holder in related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking in Bancassurance
- Self-starter with a tenacity to succeed, and a flair for customer servicing
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative solutioning skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, able to drive cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
