An investment firm is seeking an IT Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist to join its Hong Kong office. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-performance, collaborative environment where technology plays a critical role in supporting a fast-moving front office and broader business operations.

Role Overview

You will provide hands-on support across end-user devices, office hardware, meeting room technology, and key internal systems. The role also covers asset and procurement coordination, account and access administration, and participation in IT-related infrastructure and workplace projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide daily support for end users, PCs, peripherals, and audio-visual equipment across the office.
  2. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  3. Manage IT assets, procurement requests, inventory, and consumables.
  4. Support user account administration, permissions, and access control for internal applications.
  5. Assist with office technology, conference room systems, and extra low voltage-related projects.
  6. Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.

Requirements

  1. Bachelors degree or above, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  2. Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking basics.
  3. Hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCs.
  4. Strong problem-solving ability, with the confidence to research and resolve open-ended issues independently.
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
  6. Proficiency inMandarin and English for daily business communication.
  7. Experience supporting IT systems in a medium-to-large corporate environment is an advantage.
