An investment firm is seeking an IT Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist to join its Hong Kong office. Role Overview
You will provide hands-on support across end-user devices, office hardware, meeting room technology, and key internal systems. The role also covers asset and procurement coordination, account and access administration, and participation in IT-related infrastructure and workplace projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for end users, PCs, peripherals, and audio-visual equipment across the office.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Manage IT assets, procurement requests, inventory, and consumables.
- Support user account administration, permissions, and access control for internal applications.
- Assist with office technology, conference room systems, and extra low voltage-related projects.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking basics.
- Hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCs.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with the confidence to research and resolve open-ended issues independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
- Proficiency inMandarin and English for daily business communication.
- Experience supporting IT systems in a medium-to-large corporate environment is an advantage.
