Job Description
  • Managing daily middle-office operations related to fixed income, currencies, and commodities (FICC) products.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements in all processes.
  • Collaborating closely with front-office teams to support trading activities and mitigate operational risks.
  • Overseeing trade validation, confirmation, and settlement processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the middle-office team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Implementing process improvements and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Managing relationships with external counterparties, clearinghouses, and custodians.
  • Preparing and presenting operational reports to senior management and stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
  • Extensive knowledge of FICC products and middle-office operations within the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in banking and financial services.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with front-office and back-office teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and driving operational improvements.
  • Proficiency in relevant trading and settlement systems commonly used in the industry.
