A global MNC is looking for a high-caliber Director of Corporate Communications / PR to lead and oversee the communications strategy across Asia regions.

The Role

  • Act as a trusted strategic communications adviser to regional MDs, senior executives, and affiliate leadership across the APAC region.
  • Partner closely with global corporate communications leadership to localise and execute global communications strategies, while elevating regional initiatives on an international platform.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive external communications strategies supporting executive positioning, corporate initiatives, and business priorities.
  • Oversee the drafting and quality of high-impact communications materials, including press releases, speeches, briefing notes, key messages, and executive talking points.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key media stakeholders across Asia-Pacific.
  • Lead communications planning and execution in crisis or sensitive situations across external media, digital channels, and internal communications.
  • Design and drive internal communications initiatives to support senior leadership engagement and organisational alignment.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of in-house and external events involving senior executives, key stakeholders, artists, and invited speakers.
  • Manage public affairs and political communications at both local and national levels where required.
  • Provide leadership, oversight, and mentorship to regional communications team members and market leads.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in corporate communications, public affairs, or a closely related discipline, ideally within a regional or global organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior executives and managing complex stakeholder environments.
  • Proven capability in crisis communications and issues management, with strong judgement and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and audience-appropriate messaging.
  • Experience operating within a matrixed, multinational organisation and managing competing priorities under pressure.
  • Collaborative, professional leadership style with strong cultural awareness and interpersonal effectiveness.
