Our client is a leading cutting edge Insurtech multinational with strong presences within the APAC region. To cope with their expansion plan in HK, they are seeking a high-performing Sales Director to drive new business acquisition into the enterprise market. This is a commercially focused, "go-to-market" leadership role responsible for building pipeline from target accounts, closing enterprise deals, and expanding revenue through new logos.

Reporting to the VP of Asia Pacific, you will partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure the sales strategy translates into measurable growth, while maintaining a hands-on approach to prospecting, deal execution, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full end-to-end new business sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, pitching, solutioning, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and execute a scalable hunter strategy to develop opportunities across assigned segments and industries.
  • Establish strong C-level and senior stakeholder relationships, positioning the company as a strategic partner.
  • Manage and forecast revenue pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and deal tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Operations, Legal, Partnerships) to support proposals, onboarding requirements, and commercial terms.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and partner with leadership to achieve agreed targets.

Requirements

  • Degree holder from a credible university
  • 10-15 years+ of B2B sales experience with a strong track record in new business acquisition
  • Proven success in closing deals in BFSI/ Insurance, or adjacent regulated industries.
  • Strong experience selling technology-enabled solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline from scratch and exceed revenue targets.
  • Enterprise-grade communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen: pricing, contracting, negotiation, and deal structuring.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments and long sales cycles.
  • Complete fluency in English is a must
