This is a leading insurance institution. They are expanding their Data Science team to leverage the use of AI into growth of business. This is a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer and agency behavior across marketing, sales, servicing, and retention journeys
- Develop predictive and machine learning models (e.g. propensity, churn, conversion, segmentation)
- Design and develop GenAI use cases such as customer insights summarization, agent copilots, and personalized recommendations
- Conduct data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation using structured and unstructured data
- Translate business problems into data science and AI solutions with clear success metrics
- Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to productionize models and GenAI solutions
- Communicate insights and model results clearly to business and leadership stakeholders
- Support data governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices
Requirements
- Master's Degree or above in Computer Science/Mathematic/Data Science or in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles
- Strong experience analyzing customer and/or agency data, preferably within insurance or financial services
- Hands-on experience with Python and common data science libraries (e.g. pandas, scikit-learn, ML frameworks)
- Practical exposure to GenAI / LLM-based solutions, including POCs or applied use cases
- Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
- Solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data modeling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent commands in both Cantonese and English necessary.
