A global investment bank specializing in providing worldwide equities research and investment management services is looking for Software Engineer talents with 0-2 years of work experience to join the team. Open to those with either Java or C#.net development background to work on a list of data and investment platform development projects.
The Role
- Work with the team to develop and enhance components of trading platform for trade execution, order routing, and position management
- Build and migrate data platforms through ETL pipelines, dataset transformation, and legacy data migration
- Dashboard development for front-office users such as portfolio managers and traders
- Participate in full SDLC including code reviews, unite testing, debugging, production support
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, version control
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology & Management or related field
- 0-2 years of work experience as Software Engineer in any industries
- Great technical skills in Java or C#.Net development (OOP, collections, basic multithreading)
- Data scripting skills in either SQL or Python (nice to have)
- Dashboard development such as Python or SQL experience (nice to have)
- Data pipelining / ETL experience (nice to have)
- Exposure to DevOps (nice to have)
- Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) (MUST)
