About the Role

Sitting within the highly dynamic Global Markets Division, this 6-month off-cycle internship is designed to support the firm's fast-paced Sales, Trading, and Structuring teams. You will play a vital role in enabling the firm to make markets, facilitate client transactions, and manage risk across fixed income, equity, currency, and commodity products.

Key Responsibilities

As an Off-Cycle Intern, you will directly support the day-to-day operations of the Global Markets desk. Your activities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Market Research: Conducting in-depth research on relevant global market information, trends, and financial products.
  • Market Intelligence: Preparing timely and accurate daily news summaries for the sales and trading teams.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying areas for improvement and helping to streamline and optimize internal desk processes.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assisting senior team members with targeted project work and ongoing desk support.
Requirements
  • Language: Native or absolute fluency in English is a must.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of global financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and investment banking principles.
  • Experience: Previous internship or work experience within a global investment bank is highly preferred and considered a strong plus.
  • Availability: Must be able to commit to a full-time, 6-month contract.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading floor environment.
