Senior QA Analyst, Investment Bank

Responsibilities Lead test strategy, planning, and execution for post-trade systems. Design, prepare, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test evidence. Build and maintain test automation frameworks and expand automation coverage. Work closely with business users, operations, and IT teams to understand workflows and translate requirements into testing activities. Support requirement reviews, defect investigation, and release coordination. Manage testing across BAU and project workstreams

Responsibilities
  • Lead test strategy, planning, and execution for post-trade systems.
  • Design, prepare, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test evidence.
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks and expand automation coverage.
  • Work closely with business users, operations, and IT teams to understand workflows and translate requirements into testing activities.
  • Support requirement reviews, defect investigation, and release coordination.
  • Manage testing across BAU and project workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure testing activities follow internal controls, SDLC standards, and audit requirements.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of QA experience in securities brokerage, investment banking, or other regulated environments.
  • Strong experience in integrated post-trade systems ie. Equities and Fixed Income.
  • Good understanding of post-trade processes such as trade booking, confirmation, settlement instruction processing, SWIFT messaging, and reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation and maintaining automation solutions.
  • Experience supporting trade settlement systems such as Gloss, Syn~, or Inferno.
  • Experience in performance testing to assess system latency and throughput.
  • Strong organisation, ownership, and communication skills.
Technical skills
  • Automation and QA tools: Cucumber, Selenium, Postman, JMeter.
  • Programming and scripting: Java, SQL.
  • Development tools: IntelliJ IDEA.
