Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing fund offering documents to ensure structures meet operational standards, setting up products/funds in systems, and performing BAU data analysis.
- Lead research and execution of new service implementations by managing both direct and indirect resources across multiple locations and disciplines.
- Own and drive project activities, including but not limited to: developing and managing project delivery plans; executing plans with robust governance and reporting; actively mitigating and managing project risks by coordinating timely resolution of issues; and managing scope containment and change control.
- Execute post‑implementation and production satisfaction reviews to continuously improve practices.
- Ensure all processes are tracked and provide regular updates to senior management; escalate issues to management in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all controls and procedures.
- Continuously improve processes by identifying potential tactical and strategic enhancements to implementation processes and driving results.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, IT, and Operations teams to ensure effective representation of the Implementation team.
- Perform other ad‑hoc tasks and operational procedure enhancement projects as assigned.
- Assist in supervising junior staff performance and provide coaching as required.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Working towards HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience, preferably gained in the financial services industry, with strong knowledge of the fund industry, various fund structures, and relevant regulatory requirements. Experience in fund administration, buy-side operations, or audit would be an asset.
- Proven project management skills.
- Proactive and mature, with a high level of attention to detail; able to work independently under pressure and with a strong commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
- Presentable, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at different levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis applications (including AI tools), with the ability to produce well‑structured and neatly presented work.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for an Analyst level.
