Responsibility



Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to:
    • Agent/broker commissions, overrides, bonuses, and incentive schemes
    • Agency hierarchy, levels, and reporting lines
    • Chargebacks, clawbacks, adjustments, and recoveries
    • Payout cycles, settlement rules, and payment methods
  • Translate complex compensation logic into clear, concise functional requirements
  • Maintain detailed business rules and calculation scenarios


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Agency Distribution, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and IT teams
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and validation sessions
  • Manage requirement changes and resolve cross-functional issues


Solution & Delivery Support

  • Work with IT teams and vendors to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory needs
  • Review functional designs and system configurations for accuracy
  • Support system integration with policy administration, billing, GL, and payment systems


Testing & Implementation

  • Define UAT scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Support UAT execution and defect resolution
  • Validate commission calculations through scenario-based testing
  • Assist with data migration validation and reconciliation
  • Support user training and go-live activities


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Proven experience working on agency compensation or commission systems
  • Experience working with vendors or system integrators is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of insurance agency distribution models
  • Solid knowledge of commission structures, incentives, and payout processes
  • Familiarity with Life, General, or Medical insurance products is preferre
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline
