Responsibilities This role provides
primary Business Management coverage for Trading, Sales and IB business within GFM. As Business Management (BM) Production Support in the COO Office, you will provide:
- Production Support for covered desks: Spearhead the provision of critical Production support to GFM's Sales, Trading, and Fixed Income desks, efficiently resolving daily operational issues and ensuring seamless business operation.
- Manage Production Incidents: Act as the business lead for managing ad-hoc incidents and changes, orchestrating collaboration with support functions, control units, and business lines to swiftly resolve issues and advance GFM initiatives
- Drive Change and Innovation: Proactively partner with key stakeholders across GFM to identify inefficiencies, analyze complex problems, and champion the implementation of strategic change initiatives that enhance operational performance
- Risk and Internal Controls: Conduct control reviews and implement continuous enhancements to existing internal controls, ensuring the integrity of products and processes, and upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance
- Drives AI/Automation adoption: Drive adoption of GenAI, data-driven and agent-based solutions to streamline COO workflows and free up capacity.
- Represent the COO Office in regional/local committees, forums, and working groups, contributing valuable insights and influencing strategic decisions.
- Perform other necessary tasks as required to meet various business and control needs
- The role is expected to beindividual contributor aligned with relevant experience
Requirements - Relevant Experience: at least 5 years relevant experience within Global Markets, Treasury or closely related financial fields.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of derivatives and structured products prevalent in the GFM business, encompassing spot, forwards, options, swaps, repos, and various structured financial instruments.
- Process and Transaction Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of GFM's end-to-end transaction flows and associated risk areas, including regulatory, capital, market, credit, and settlement risks.
- Systems Acumen: Strong familiarity with treasury products, systems, and operational models. Murex knowledge is a strong plus.
- Problem-Solving Agility: Proven ability to handle and resolve complex issues effectively and efficiently within demanding timelines.
- GenAI/Agentic AI Automation Capability: Hands-on experience in Python, GenAI/Agentic AI enabled automation, data analytics with the ability to translate business problems into scalable, intelligent solutions (e.g. AI-assisted analysis, agentic workflows, smart controls).
- Project Management Excellence: A track record of effectively managing multiple work streams concurrently and consistently meeting critical deadlines.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills, coupled with a robust risk and control mindset.
