Business Development Manager - Funds / Investments

This role focuses on the distribution and growth of open‑ended fund products through established personal networks and professional channels. The successful candidate will act as a subject‑matter resource on fund structures while deepening relationships across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, and other regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive capital raising for open‑ended fund products via personal client bases and intermediary partnerships
  • Develop and manage long‑term relationships with distribution channels and professional clients
  • Explain fund structures, product features, and investment suitability clearly to stakeholders
  • Deliver holistic investment, asset allocation, and risk management solutions tailored to channel needs
  • Conduct periodic portfolio and relationship reviews to support client retention
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements under relevant jurisdictions


Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within financial services, asset management, or insurance environments
  • Proven ability to conduct or support SFC Type 4 & Type 9 regulated activities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident dealing with professional investors and partners
  • Self‑driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Immigration schemes such as TTPS or QMAS welcomed
