Operational Risk Analyst - Global Private Bank

A great opportunity to join a leading global financial institution's private wealth management division as an operational risk specialist, overseeing and assessing operational risk as the first line of defense. Candidates with relevant private banking product knowledge, as well as risk and control experience are welcome.

Salary: HKD45000 - HKD55000 per month

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operational risk to ensure compliance with the Firm's framework, including preparing risk reporting, analytics, and top risk identification
  • Lead Risk and Control Self Assessments to ensure risks are identified, assessed and reported
  • Supervise incident management, including data collection, analysis, and tracking of issues and actions
  • Coordinate regulatory inquiries, internal audits, and compliance testing
  • Conduct thematic reviews to enhance controls and mitigate risks
  • Monitor business continuity planning and crisis management in line with HKMA operational resilience requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree
  • 3 years of experience in risk management or control functions
  • Knowledge of private banking products
  • Strong verbal and written English and Chinese
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
