Contract IT Onsite Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for end-user workplace technology.
• Support workstation hardware, applications, email, printers, mobile devices, and network-related services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; escalate to Level 2-3 support when needed.
• Follow and support IT Service Management processes and service target delivery.
• Contribute to projects that improve organizational IT support and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding (equipment preparation, distribution, and recovery).
• Manage and verify monthly mobile/device billing accuracy and timely payments.
• Collaborate with HR and departmental teams to streamline onboarding/offboarding workflows and improve user experience.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets (hardware, software licenses, accessories) using asset management systems.
• Communicate and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for optimal pricing, delivery schedules, and service quality.
• Assist with procurement procedures and IT operations when required.
• Undertake other ad-hoc IT tasks as assigned.

• Familiarity with core IT platforms/tools, such as:
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Intune
  • PowerShell
  • AWS/Azure workspace-related tools (e.g., workspace access)
  • iOS and Android support
  • macOS support
• Proficiency in Englishand Chinese.
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) is considered an advantage.
• Compliance mindset regarding IT service management, IT risk & security policies, and standard procedures.
