The Role
- Trade lifecycle management: Oversee trades end-to-end including booking, affirmation, confirmation, and settlement tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Reconciliations & break resolution: Perform daily cash and position reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and work with brokers, administrators, and vendors to resolve issues.
- Cash, collateral & payments: Monitor cash balances, margin/collateral movements, and support funding and payment processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Corporate actions & capital activities: Track corporate actions, subscriptions/redemptions, and ensure all events are accurately reflected across records.
- NAV, valuation & reporting: Review NAV, P/L, and valuation outputs, perform reconciliations where required, and prepare weekly estimates and internal reports.
- Vendor oversight & liaison: Act as key contact with prime brokers, administrators, and external partners to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Controls, audit & risk support: Assist with operational controls, audit processes, and internal checks to maintain data accuracy and compliance.
- Process improvement & projects: Identify workflow enhancements, streamline processes, and support automation initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
Your Profile
- Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline
- Around 3-5 years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or big 4
- Good understanding of trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and basic accounting concepts
- Detail‑oriented and comfortable handling routine, process‑driven work with accuracy
- Strong Excel skills; exposure to automation or data tools is a plus
- Curious about using technology and simple automation to improve efficiency
- Clear communicator who works well in a collaborative team environment
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a lean setup
