Just got bk from a consultation.I booked too but he said he was not comfortable with me going ahead as I still had so many questions still. I want to go thru areola but worried abt scars so looking for some close up shots to see how it heals on Asian as all egs. I hv seen so far real and photos on Caucasians.
Price is not an issue when it come sto something like this need the best man for the job and hoping he is.

remember...everyone will get old..it's no big deal..u should be happy of who you are..

I was planning to go to see Dr.Pomee for double eyelids surgery, but he charges almost double price of the Bumrungrad suggested!!?? anyone has this kind of surgery with him? any advises pls? Many thanks!

Bumrungrad is not the BEST hospital in Thailand just the most famous. Everyone please check out others before choosing as there are so many good doctors and hospitals there. I have had lasik surgery and my boobs done at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and it was fantastic and definately cheaper than BRG. I now live in Thailand so I was able to do thorough investigations before deciding and i was spoilt for choice.

Sharni - can you recommend any other BKK hospitals for boobs / lipo? I'm not based there, but casting around for alternatives to Bumrungrad and finding it very hard to do internet research. Why did you choose Bangkok Pattaya Hospital? Thanks!!

To answer your questions, i chose Bangkok Pattaya because it was closer to my home than the Bangkok hospitals but mostly i had met LOADS of people who had undergone treatments there and could speak first hand about their experience and advice. Also i went to see a few surgeons before i made my choice and eventually went to Dr Thun Nasongkhla (not sure about spelling). I have had three friends go in to him since mine (3 mon ths ago) and all have been thoroughly happy.
And Miasma - price was not really a factor for me i went with what i thought was right it just happended to be cheaper than BRG Hosp.
Casey - i paid 50,000 baht (10,000HK) for my laser surgery almost one year ago. It is definately the best thing!!!!! I love my hassle free life now without my contacts. Being active glasses were never my thing but hated the constant irritations and hassles that i personally had with wearing contacts. Good luck!
