Hi does anyone have the name of a health store or other place where I can get some fenugreek supplements or pills. I'm nursing and my milk supply is dropping and I have read these help milk supply. I've tried Mannings. I heard of some store called ING or something like that on Queen's Road.

Try any of the Health Food Stores up on Lyndhurst Terrace - I use Mother's Milk Tea when I am nursing which includes Fenugreek which is available from Health Food Shops (there are two near the escalator on Lyndhurst) or from B2Babes.

I'm not a diabetic.
Have tried everything else.
Read the links above and everything else I could find on the Internet.
Just started Fenugreek yesterday.
Can anybody share their experience?
What month did you start?
How many per day?
How long did you take it for?

Just to close this one out... it really works!
I read a lot before starting and it is very clear that I needed to take 3 pills 3 x day for it to be effective. After about 3 days, supply went up, and has stayed there. So I stopped taking after 5 or 6 days. Then about 2 weeks later supply dropped again, so I did another few days.
Very impressed with the results.
I am now very 'full' again in the mornings, able to pump more after the morning feed, and baby can eat more each feed without crying due to slow/low flow.

I used Fenugreek and it worked a treat for me. Got them from Health Gate (Tel: 2545 2286) 8/F, Hung Tak Building, 106-108 Des Voeux Road Central.
I was advised that fenugreek seed capules are the most effective - much better than the teas.

I used the capsueles as well, couldn't imagine drinking as much tea as required to be effective.
One other thing about it, you need to be 'both empty' for it to work.

you can also drink some tea.. you can get some special 'breastfeeding' tea or you can ask any Chinese pharmacy to prepare it for you...
just because I'm not really into capsules :)
and I've also heard some moms complaining that fenugreek were making them gain some overweigh..

One of the health food shops that used to be in a ground floor shop on Lyndhurst Terrace has moved to 13th floor of Capitol Plaza, also on Lyndhurst Terrace but you won't see it from street level.
