cheap manicure??

I'm looking for a place in central somewhere that do good but cheap manicures and pedicures. Everywhere is so expensive ie $200 for a basic manicure, $400 for a pedicure.

Does anyone know a good secret place ie in some building in central on some obscure floor that no-one knows about?

If you wander the lanes in Central, filipinas approach and offer manis etc. Not sure of cost, but doubtless not as much as the major salons.

my advice is to bring your own manicure tool set.

also, bring your own nail polish.

the nail polish that they use can be contaminated with fungus or bacteria.


if it is your own equipment you don't have to worry.

Yeah, The last thing I want on my toe nails and finger nails are cheap anything. Once you get infection on them, it is terribly difficult to get rid of them. And antifungal meds are not only expensive but harmful to you as well. How much cheaper can you really get from HKD200 anyway...so treat yourself and go to a nice and clean place to pamper yourself. It is pampering afterall. Or learn to do it yourself....that is the cheapest way to go.

Try Spatacular 25211918. Try Doris really good. For fist visit customers they offer 30% off it's around 280. It's in Central LKF. And their usual price is pretty resonable as well

I go to Elle's Spa in Repulse Bay and they do 10% off (Monday to Wednesday). It's EXCELLENT, the pedicure last very long.

Their manicure + pedicure costs just $280 for both treatments

This salon is very clean!! They use a sterilizer for their equipment

i knew there's is a place named "drop" in central, only $200 for manicure treatment and 2 martini on every tuesday or 1 moet champagne on every wednesday, their address is basement, on lok mansion, hollywood road, maybe u can call them at 25438856...try it.

I have had a really good read at all the replies and amazed that most have not considered going cheap can be probmatic. There is a great saying from Mexico, “you buy cheap you buy double”! You are talking about parts of your body that you use every day, so the last thing you need is a skin problem that may take forever to cure. HYGIENE should be what we are talking about. I would not use any salon that did not have the highest of standards for sterilizing the equipment. Ditto to the reply that said we “after all pampering our’s-self”! I have been using a Salon called “Amy’s Nail Boutique” 17th Floor, Tak Lee Building, Wanchai, Tel 2893-2229. No infections, no worries and always getting complimented on my nails. All things considered their prices are reasonable.

$180 for a manicure and $340 for a pedicure, but i had acrylic nails done, my first time was $940 but i go back every four weeks for a refill ($400 for refill)Usuall i have my hand & feet done and it takes two hours (I pay $740 for my hand's and feet) some people may think that is expensive but the manicure last for around two weeks and the pedicure around one month. I would like to impress upon anyone using the salon that every thing is sterilized (using surgical liquid) I have tried many salons over my 20 years in Hong Kong and no salon I visited had this type of quality & standard. The Salon owner "Amy" has been American trained over 20 years experience and very helful. I sleep well at night after being professionally pampered, we all deserve a good old pamper!

go to cherdchai in Wanchai. They charge 280 ofr manicure and pedicure using OPI products. They are only open from Mondays thru saturdays.

You can try De's Good Service Salon, 3/f., no.5, Li Yuen St. East, Central, HK. contact no.s 25373900, 25372044. Call Mary, the manager. The price for tneir manicure is $60 and $70 for pedicure.
