My video tape got "eaten" by the machine and I am wondering who can repair it for me in HKG plus
put the information on a DVD.

If you don't find the shop -I have repaiered a number of video's myself - if the tape is out of the plastic shell, then you clean up the tear if there is one by cutting straigh across the film, then using about a half centimetre of the scotch tape (the frosty looking one that when stuck on is almost invisible) and tape the two sides of the tape together, trimming along the sides. This will allow your tape to play (with a very short glitch where the tape is) pretty OK.
