satelite ...when you leave

After paying over $4,000 to install a satelite dish what do expats do when they leave? Is there no 2nd hand market for them?

Jeepers. The guy only charged me $1500 incl dish, install and cable.


You got ripped big time.


You are right, absolutely no second hand market whatsoever.


Also not all places can get satellite if it cannot be mounted facing the correct direction.


Put it on the asia xpat trading place but you may only get a couple hundred dollars for it as I think the expense is in the installation.
