We tried a mens forum and the few posts that were made violated our rules so we deleted it.

Generally when men were contributing on the Womens forum constructively (before we went back to Women exclusively because the men were ruining the forum) it was with respect to questions about relationships - therefore we have launched a new forum Relationships. Please use that or if you just want to make a point about something, the Speakers Corner.

Thanks

Kiwozzie - I also have short hair and use a product called 'Ban - Holding Mud'. It's a more of a hair clay than wax or paste and is humidity - resistant.

You can buy it in the local hairdressing supplies shops. There is one on Wellington St in Central. It is just next to the wig and fancy dress shops on the the junction of Pottinger St. Good luck.

Took me years to find the right product! Most waxes and pastes just turn to liquid in this climate. Be warned though, this is pretty stiff, you only need a little bit. Happy coiffing!

Thanks DouglasLillico

I'll have a look. I sent off for some paste from Australia, but will run out soon.

Also have pixie-short hair and use Sebastian Crude Clay--brown tub with gray cover. Costs $99 at SASA. Unlike gels or wax, this one is matt-finish and does not weigh hair down when it's hot and humid
