Does anyone know where I can buy laminated glass for apartment windows. Note these have to be laminated as this will help significantly on the noise factor I am experiencing in my apartment. My plan is to use these as the double pane on the inside window.

I found company in Wanchai - by the name of Bollington & Co. phone number is 2519-0116. Make sure you use laminated glass as it makes a big difference. Laminated glass will stop the noise and make the insulation much better -

I guess most who would want to do this have windows allready; so 2 options;
* To improve what is; with laminated glass ?.
Is it worth it ?.
* Or change to double or tripple etc glass; very expensive and i doubt anyone would do this if you only rent the flat and landlord does not want to fork out (and why should he if youre allready in there).

Allright; but what if you have an existing set-up. Is there anything that would be worth doing to get noise blocking improved. As you probably know; changing all windows to double or tripple glazing cost a lot of $ for a tenant...

I have lived in Jakarta, Houston and now Hong Kong. I have done the double pane in Jakarta, the insulated in Houston and now the double pane with the laminated glass on the inside for the second pane and the results are remarkable - the lamination works extreemly well for the noise factor and I'm sure they will also help with the heat factor -- but that's my opinion - no BS Mango. It's so quiet (we live in TST - very noisy) and the difference from before and after is like living in a tomb - almost too quiet.
