For my son's 11th, he invited 20 friends over int he afternoon. They did swimming, played pool, x-box etc ,we had a bbq, they had a bit of a karioke in the evening, generally messing around, followed by a sleepover.....only 15 syayed for that!

In Sai Kung there is a combat games place, he's been to a few parties there, the boys that age love it, Its a bit like paintballing, but they all get army clothes to wear, and go off in the country.

You could also take a few boys up to the MX club in Fanling for quad biking.

Or a beach party at big wave bay, hire them all boogie boards, and a bbq on the beach.

Junk trips have proved very popular in the last year for my son's friends, we did one for his 10th birthday, and he;s been on several for friends 11th birthdays.

I brought my 2 boys (6 and 10yrs old) to mini motorcycling. They had great fun and all of my 10yrs old. son's classmates want to join us whenever we are going next time.

For my daughter's ninth birthday we did a "survivor" theme.

We had two types of bandana's wrapped in paper to start - each person picked a wrapped bandana and then on unwrapping found out what team they were in.

They then face painted their tribal colours on each other.

We then had clues and challenges (like the television show)

I made up obstacle courses and then they had to unwrap hard tied parcels and then use foot pumps to blow up beach balls and then roll them down the beach from one end to the other.

We had "gross" eating competitions and then they all enjoyed watching themselves on the "survivor" movie we made while eating popcorn and having a bbq dinner.

It took lots of preparation and I got lots of ideas from the internet but it was well worth it!

All the kids had a great time and after three hours they were completely exhausted.

I think 11 year old boys would just love it. The winning team just got to pick one extra take home gift so it was more team effort rather than a competition.
