Hi,
I recently got a Netgear wireless router with my compaq notebook [ which is wi fi enabled]
I have gone through the set up process 5-10 times, just cant make my notebook access my broadband connection through the wi fi router!!
Does anyone know of a person who could come over & set thing up for me? [ which should not cost me an arm & a leg]

Start with using it un-encrypted. Did you do this or is that also a problem. The problem usually is to get encryption running well (or at all).
What is it that is not working ?. Does the broadband work when you dont use Router ?. Who is your ISP ?. Does it require password (and did you enter that in to the router ?).

Well, not quite sure about the encryption bit. I just followed the set-up wizard.
1). It's my internet access thats not working. The netgear equipment is on, the broadband is on & as soon as i put the broadband cable into the lan slot, i can access the net. But not through wi-fi.
2.ISP is NOW
3. The set up wizard did not ask me for the internet password.
