I want to pay taxes - Legal help

Hi Everyone,

I am about to take up a new employment with a company from a small European country and many subsidiaries around the world (but no office in Hong Kong).

I want to pay taxes in Hong Kong, but I don't have a HK ID. As a Swiss citizen (but without residency there), I come to HK on a 3-month tourist visa. I also have leased an apartment here in Hong Kong.

Is there any way to pay taxes in Hong Kong (instead of wherever in the world my employer will employ me and pay out my salary)?

I also thought of not paying taxes at all (basically not telling anyone about it), but then I am for sure falling foul of the country where my employer will pay my salary from.

Any ideas?

I am not working in Hong Kong at all, as I will be a consultant working for a company that has subsidiaries all across Asia/World but not Hong Kong.

Home taxes usually depend on either residency or where you actually earned it. If neither applies, then you are out of luck
