Is it possible to get a house on monthly rental basis in Hong Kong.

We are looking for a house for 6-8 months (extendable to 10 months).

A 1 room studio or a 1 bedroom will do.

We are looking for a rental of around 6000-8000 HKD/ month.

I realise that central would be out of the question so are open to areas in DB/ North point/ Kowloon.

Everything is negotiable but it's going to be difficult for you. Most realtors aren't going to put much effort into your case since landlords would rather go with the standard two year lease with min. 12 month occupancy.

Maybe you should directly contact some of the landlords advertising their properties on this website???
