My baby has a birthmark on her forehead. Wondering if there're any parents who can share their experience of taking their child to get treated by laser.

How old is your baby and what kind of birthmark is it? Our daughter has a pretty good sized hemagioma on the back of her head and the several doctors we asked about it (when it was growing quickly and scaring us to pieces) were unequivable and consistant in saying it would very likely go away on it's own and shouldn't be treated...so I haven't even thought again of treating it until now! (It IS shrinking but isn't gone yet)

My daughter had a birthmark on her leg but then it disappear when she was 5 months' old. I was told by the Ped that it would very likely to go away when she is 2 years old anyway. So, it's good that it's not there anymore.
