Been meaning to get local television reception so bought a set of "rabbit ear" antenna. However, couldn't get a decent reception in the building (Kowloon Tong). Can I plug into the cable TV jacks (they are on the wall) to get local TV? Can I get local TV through NOW broadband? thanks

You should be able to get local, free channels, on the outlet in wall. If not; something is strange. Where i live we got some satelite channels as well; but still, only free ones.
I dont have NOW but think you will also get the free HK channels, in addition to what you pay for. This is handy if you have for example a plasma without a tuner as you can use the decoder for receiving the channels.
Let me know more on what problem is if it does not work..
