As usual great advice from Ruth.
You should stick to it. I would recommend the Irish Pub, behind the Garden Hotel. E.g. the Elephant and Castle and the Hill Bar in front of the Hotel (other side of the street) are okay - but I do prefer the Paddy Field.
Anyway have a look for a free edition of "That's GZ" it has a listing of restaurants and bars etc.(incl. addresses). It's available in Hotels and restaurants - but might be gone quickly, especially with the fair just around the corner...
Since during the fair everything will be crowded it just will give you a few more options.
