I applied to CIS and kiangsu Chekiang Int'l div. for my kids who will be in Y2 and Y4, but they were all put on waitlist so far. I am afraid that I can not find a international school by the end of summer ?
Any suggestion on a international school who is good quality and have available spaces ?

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I prefer they can also get both Chinese and English education. Is Yew Chung also a good choice ?

If you are on the waiting list then it is just a matter of time. Why not try Singapore Int'l school. The Chinese teaching is quite good. The only thing is they teach simplified character. Don't know anything about Yew Chung as it is not really one most people on this site sent their kids to. There are lots of so called int'l schools in HK but really very local. Other good int'l schools such as HKIS among others do not teach mandarin properly (you probably already know that given your choices).

It depends on what you want. If you want your kids to be fully integrated into the local HK culture and speak Chinese fluently, then YCIS may be a good choice. If you're looking for a real good mix of Caucasians, however, then you should consider other "real" int'l schools as YCIS isn't really that int'l in the sense that it doesn't have many western kids. Most of the kids at YCIS are either super rich local HK kids or overseas-born returnees. There is a growing number of Mainland wealthy families living in HK who send their kids to YCIS too. It is so-called "int'l" because it follows a foreign curriculum.
