My husband work for a US based company for 20 yrs. Work in hk for almost 15 years w/ this company then this year he was terminated. He was

diagnosed w/ lung cancer before the termination.

I was not aware that accdg. to hk law , any person can be terminated although he/she got this

disease as long as the company will give the long service payments. Can anyone educate me on this matter?

Although I am not a HK lawyer, I believe that there is no such thing as iron rice bowl in Hong Kong. It is a matter of how much compensation he is legally entitled to.
