Exess Baggage? Help!

Did study the previous thread of "Sending thing home" to find out how to fix my excess baggage (10Kg)with low cost while travelling with Lufthansa from HK to Frankfurt end of this month.

In my case, I just have few hr transit in Frankfurt then continue to Brussels so Air Crago is of unconvenience. Any up-dated advice for me please as Info from macobee was written a good year ago. Much appreciated.

you can send it as "unaccompanied baggage" - much cheaper than "excess baggage". Call 2769 8681 or see

if you have airpoints with that airline you may be able to use them for your excess luggage. i know that cathay does this.

Thank you all for your info. Will try with unaccompanied baggage option or use my airpoints (Star Alliance). TC, realized now I could send HK-Brussels with air cargo! Thnx.^o^
