I'm in Hong Kong for a year and would rather rent a television than buy. Can anyone recomend a store that does this on Hong Kong island?

Renting TVs is rare to my knowledge. TVs are so cheap nowadays I doubt it doesn't make sense. Either get a cheap TV that is made in China or buy one second hand from this website's trading post.

There is Thorn Rentals which has been around for a number of years.

For others, try the Yellow Pages - although as mentioned above they are few and far between.
Alternatively, check out the Trading Post on this site to see if anyone is leaving and needs a quick sale.
