Sorry for the open-ended question, but where should we go in Sai Kung with a young baby on a Sunday afternoon?
Are there any child-friendly restaurants for lunch/dinner?

What do you mean child friendly?
Non smoking- outdoors, quiet, toys in the corner???.
For a baby you have different expectations than for a toddler - what do you want from a restaurant then we may be able to answer you better.

ideally a non-smoking environment and a place that does not pack the tables in too tightly
as for noise, quiet or loud, doesn't matter

If it is not too hot there are plenty of open air restaurants in Sai Kung along the waterfront - Chinese seafood mainly. There is also Jaspas and Cru and Pepperonis for western style fare - inside and outside dining and not too packed. There are over 100 restaurants in Sai Kung so it would be a matter of choosing the cuisine, price range and then walking around town checking them out to see if they suit what you are looking for. Scarecrow is nice too - again inside and outside dining - italian fare and not too crowded together.
I am not sure if there are any non smoking restaurants in Sai Kung.

Scarecrow is very nice, no toys or high chairs but the staff are very baby freindly and the food is excellent.

Thanks for the responses so far. Due to the unpredictable weather, we decided to wait another weekend.
Overnight, I did some research on the nearby beaches/islands (White Sand, Sharp, Sheep, etc.) as well as Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park and was wondering if any of these places (and the kaidos) is stroller friendly.
Would it be better to go on a weekday?

Wouldn't take a stroller to any of those beaches - most are a long way from the road, with a bit of a trek, Hoi Ha is miles away in a bus or taxi. Kaido's you need to board from quite steep steps in Sai Kung or any of the other jetty's - so not stroller friendly - unless you fold it up and store it away.
Yes Sai Kung is much nicer on a week day - the weekdays are the reason we love it here.
