Passports for Hong Kong citizens?

Does HK have its own passport now - or is it now a PRC passport?? Used to be a BNO (British national Overseas passport)...just a question raised at dinner this evening - no real urgency...

There is indeed a HKSAR passport. Visa free travel is pretty good - similar to that of US/EU passport holders:

There are/have been some court cases as to whether or not people can get one if neither of their parents is ethnically Chinese.

Australia only grants visa free to NZ - even UK need a visa. US grants visa free to a few countries (EU+) but this is changing post 9/11.

Gweilo has nothing to do with how long you've been here - its based on the fact that you are white

The word gweilo simply means "ghost man" and has to do with skin colour, not immigration status.
