I am a UK expat and I need to have some official UK court papers notarised.
Are there authorized Notaries in Taipei?

Oh that's really helpful!! NOT! Ask them if the notary has to be a UK notary? If not, try some other consulates and see if they will notarize the document for you. (E.g. commonwealth such as Australia?) I think all USA consular offices will provide notary service for a fee, not sure if it would be limited to US citizens or not but see no reason why it should be (all the USA notary does is provide a certified witness to vouch for the authenticity of the signature and administer an oath if necessary).
