is there any difference in the ferry from Central to Macau and from TST to Macau? didnt know there was one from TST until this morning

The one from Central is a hydrofoil, and the one from TST a catamaran. I use the TST one because I live on this side, but think the hydrofoil is faster.

It is Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal; 2 options:
1/ Macau - HK ferry Terminal, Sheung Wan, Central
2/ Macau - China Ferry Terminal, Tsimshatsui, Kowlon

Heh, it's the same ferry in Macau whether it's to Sheung Wan or TST.

If you're the type like me who gets queasy or has motion sickness, take the hydrofoil.
Seeing other people turn green while on the Catamaran is enough to make other people sick too.

Thanks. Took the catamaran yesterday and my face turned green during the 70 minute trip. Lesson learnt! Turbo Jet seemed smooth and faster.

But, on the flipside, the cat is safer .... the trifoils sometimes crash down onto their hulls: the force can be strong enough to cause seating to collapse. See for example

Anyway, you'll never know with Turbojet whether you're going to be on a trifoil or cat... they operate both out of Shun Tak, and simply choose the vessel appropriate to passenger demand.
