i desperately am searching for one and was wondering where i can find some decently priced yet high quality ones? I know shanghai tang is one option, but the price is maybe too pricey for me, but i wouldn't mind spending around 900-1000 dolllars

Thanks

I pass by Hyatt (TST) and there is a chinese shop that you can buy cheoung sam. I'm not sure about the quality but worth a try.

Try this place- Chine de blanc at Pedder Building Central. Their price is much less than that odf Shanghai Tang, they can also stitch one for you.

i had one made in western market - choose you own material and design and they make it in 2 weeks - was v good and only cost about 800. If you go to shop 107 in western market you can buy material and he rings his tailor mate who will come and measure you

Isn't it Blanc De Chine in Pedder Bldg? Also try Chinese Arts and Crafts in Wanchai (Sun Hung Kai Bldg.

To be honest, cheong sam only looks good on the Asian figure unless you happen to be a very skinny european. You need to have one tailor-made to get the right fit and by a tailor that knows how to flatter the western figure if you do decide to get one.
