Hi, there are so many conflicting messages on thread dating back to early last year.
Has anybody travelled to Shenzhen and got a visa as a british passport holder at the border recently?
We have friends in HK for the next 5 days and they want to go to Shenzhen tomorrow. Is there anyone we can call to help? No one answering at China travel company.
Would also love to know how much it costs.

Answered our own question... if anyone else wants to know. Yes British visas available at border (and NZ) took 10mins cost $450 for UK and $150 for NZ absolute piece of cake!
Best Western, great food, broadband, and just 480 - 590 HK per night. Couldn't be easier.

Is it still the same case now? Does anyone know the opening hours of the visa office at Luowu? I heard that it closes earlier than the border. Is that true?
