If you are looking for Audio quality, you can get a lot better at a much cheaper price. It's worth doing a search on AV forums. Bose has great marketing & looks slick but not great value.

LGRA - Thanks your reply - Have all my HiFi stuff (not Bose) - purchased 5 years ago, top notch stuff and still to find something that comes close. Am looking to get some of the Bose head phones that cut out the noise for travelling on planes. Anyone tried them on this forum as only reading good reports.

Yes, frequent fliers swear by the Quiet Comfort II noise cancellation headphones. I used them in the office once to listen to music since everyone around me was screaming. They are good if you don't want to sleep since the ear pieces are pretty big and hurt if you sleep on your side. Please report back on the price in HK. Thanks.

HKRes, I believe there is a BOSE shop at Times Square (can't remember which floor it is in). Last time I went there was about 9 months ago. Hope it's still there.
