Where can I go to trim my baby's hair or even shave it?


Are there special scissors/electric razors I can buy?

I know this is a silly question but .... at what age can you cut baby's hair. Our son is 5.5 months old and was born with a crop of hair. He has a bald patch at the back which is growing back but has long strands on top which haven't fallen out (bit of a "comb over" effect!) Can I trim the top stuff?

I once heard an old wives tale that suggested cutting a childs hair after the first birthday to ensure a thick head of hair.
