I read them online. The Australian is great. Sydney Morning Herald, The Age -- all pretty good.

Maybe at Star Ferry, HK side, in front of the bookshop. They sell a lot of int'l papers

Yes, I do read them online but would sometimes like a printed copy. I checked outside the Star Ferry but they don't carry them. Australia not as in demand as America, England, or the Phillipines?

There used to be a company that did sell Aussie papers- but not on newspaper paper - but they went out of business last year - taking a few peoples subs with them.

There is a company that does the Australian in HK.

You may want to ring the Aussie consulate as they have a bunch when you go there.

Thanks dimac4. I guess they are not actually sold anywhere in HK then.

If you want to read The Australian the best option is to try the Newstand pdf version - you get to see the whole paper, turn pages but its online, and about the same price as buying in oz. www.newsstand.com

If you travel a lot, go to the Qantas club at the airport...or if you go the Cathay Club and ask they will find one for you.
