here's what I do with shredded fish, or any shredded leftover meat...boil some spiral pasta and drain....grab a can of soup concentrate (I usually use potato and leek soup), add that can of soup to the pasta, add the drained fish, season with salt/pepper, mix well...put this in an ovenproof baking dish, top with bit of cheese (or crumble some corn chips with the cheese for crunchier crust) and bake till the top is browned off! Enjoy!! Also, instead of the cheese crust, you can put a sheet of puff pastry on top of the dish and bake it till brown.

Fenman- I know this is an old post, but when I was growing up we ate tinned fish - sardines_ all the time because it was cheap. My favorite is mashed sardines, mashed hard boiled eggs, finely chopped onion, mayonaise, and spices. Mix all together and use as appetizer or sandwich filling.

If you liked fried foods, try making it into fish patties. Just mash the tinned fish, add finely shredded onions and garlic, an equal amount of plain flour and one egg. Season with fine salt and pepper. Form into patties, then fry til golden brown. Works well with buns.
