DIA Question

I'm about to move out of my flat, but blu-tack has left dirty marks on the wall. The wall is painted matt white - how's best to get rid of them? I understand the marks will show through if I just paint over them. Someone suggested pollyfiller of some sort. Would I need some kind of thinner too?

I'm a total amateur so would really appreciate some advice! Thanx guys =o)

From Blutack's website:

Sometimes, Blu Tack can leave a faint oily mark that can be easily removed by using

a citrus based stain remover.

Seem to recall seeing lemon and orange cleaners in Citysuper. Did not check the label for levels though.
